Welcome to Saint Helena! / ¡Bienvenidos a Santa Elena!
Saint Helena Catholic School has been a neighborhood foundation in Minneapolis since 1926, and we are known for cultivating students with high academic potential, deep faith, and a desire to serve their community. Our joyful community and small class sizes allow us to know and nurture each child individually, honoring their particular gifts and talents. To educate is an act of hope. ~ Pope Francis
Our school’s rich academic program includes an emphasis on literacy through the Science of Reading, a strong math program, and includes Spanish for all grade levels. Weekly mass along with religion classes and regular opportunities for prayer and service help our students develop their faith in authentic ways.
We believe that ALL children and families have a right to a Catholic education, and we will work with you to make that possible. Financial concerns should never be an obstacle to the best possible education for your child. No family is turned away because of financial need.
Saint Teresa of Calcutta said, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” In this small school, we welcome children from all backgrounds to be taught and nurtured with the greatest of love.
If you’re interested in learning more about our school, I invite you to schedule a tour with me and learn more about what we can offer your child and family here at Saint Helena Catholic School.
